My dearest friend and writing partner HughinMunin (for this story and many others) passed away tragically on 25th May 2022. I'm sad to say that I will not be able to continue writing this story alone. I will keep this story up, but it would be left open-ended.

This is some info for those that are coming here after having read this story while it was still part of "Hunter and Spike".
Ray's involvement in this storyline has been removed as he's getting his own separate story. The plotline remains the same otherwise, with some slight alteration of events. There is no change in the characters' personalities or backstories. Flint and Razor will reach the same kind of relationship they had in the old chapters but it will develop slower and build up properly. We are introducing Ray earlier in the story because we wanted to properly explore Ray's character and give the opportunity to get to know him better.
What is changed?
In the main story, where Flint gets first introduced, it was mentioned that he was close to his rut which was what prompted him to do what he did with Spike despite his more pure intentions for approaching him in the first place. In the old version, we completely forgot about that as we moved to Flint's developing relationship with Razor. This rewrite is taking into consideration the details we overlooked back then.
We hope that the changes won't be off-putting to those that used to like the old storyline.
