Summary:

Sam and Dean fight to end the demonic threat for good. When they meet Ruby, a skilled hunter with a magical background, she reluctantly helps them navigate the surge of demonic forces released after the Hell Gate opening. With Ruby’s help, Sam finds a way to cure himself of the demon blood, ending its influence and freeing him from its dark pull.

As Dean’s deadline approaches, they exhaust every possibility to escape his deal, but his soul is still claimed. When Dean is taken to Hell, the demons try to break him as the First Seal in the apocalypse prophecy, but Castiel, a mysterious angel, intervenes just in time, rescuing Dean and sealing the apocalypse plotline for good.

Castiel’s intervention sparks an early bond with Dean, while the demonic arc comes to a close, returning Sam and Dean to their lives as hunters, free from the apocalyptic threat hanging over them.

[This story is a rewrite of Supernatural starting from Season 03]

Notes:

Key changes to the original plot:

1. Ruby’s Character: Ruby is no longer a demon but a skilled human hunter with deep knowledge of magic, passed down from her mother, who was a reluctant witch. Ruby’s mother dedicated her life to researching demonic contracts to break her own deal with Hell and prevent Ruby from following the same path. She eventually died without achieving that goal. Ruby avoids using spells herself, focusing on enchanted tools and charms. Ruby becomes an invaluable mentor in demon lore and protective magic, though her personal boundaries and independence often clash with Dean’s skepticism and Sam’s curiosity. Their alliance remains tense, driven by Ruby’s knowledge of demons, demon's contracts and ancient lore that could help them fight more effectively.
